Job summary

WovVTech is looking for a Jr./Mid level Java Developer with hands-on coding experience and a sound understanding of technology domain, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Location includes Chennai, Mumbai, and Vadodara. Freshers with at least a 3-month internship are encouraged to apply, with exposure to REST, Redis, Hibernate, Tomcat and cloud platforms (IBM, Azure, AWS). You should be ready to learn and write clean, reusable code.

Qualifications

• Freshers with hands-on Java development experience.

Responsibilities

• Experience in developing Object-oriented technologies.
• Proficient in web development using Java 8+, Spring and J2EE frameworks.
• Completed at least 3 months internship project.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Knowledge in Redis (nice to have).
• Hibernate / ORM.
• Tomcat.
• Basic knowledge of PASS Platform (IBM, Azure and AWS).
• Basic knowledge of Jersey client.
• Basic knowledge in Drools.
• Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of Git with Bit bucket.
• Basic knowledge of TDD/BDD frameworks like JUnit 4, JMeter.
• Basic knowledge of JAVA development IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans or IntelliJ IDEA.
• Enthusiastic about writing clean, reusable code; self-starter.
• Willingness to learn cross functional programming languages like Angular (TypeScript), HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript is a plus.
