Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To operate PLC/SCADA based large beam centrifuge equipment in the Institute.
• Provide day-to-day maintenance support for smooth operation of centrifuge equipment.
• Maintain accessories/transducers and related equipment.
• Assist students working in the laboratory.

3-year Diploma in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics/ Mechanical / Applied Electronics and

Automation / Mechatronics / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering in

appropriate discipline with relevant experience of two years after the diploma.

OR

ITI in Electrician / Electronics Mechanic/ Instrumentation and Control / Mechatronics (trades relevant to job profile) with relevant experience of five years after the ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT)

OR

Bachelor's degree (other than B.Tech./ B.E.) in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Mechanical/

Applied Electronics and Automation / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Industrial Electronics /

Instrumentation & Control Engineering discipline.

For a diploma in a given discipline, if the pre-requisite happens to be (10+2), the required experience will be reduced by two years.

Desirable Skills :

3-years experience in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance in Government Department/ Autonomous body/ Private Sector Organizations of repute with Automation Industry Environment.Desired to have National Council on Vocational Training in Electrical Engineering/ Industrial Automation/ Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics.

Job Description / Responsibilities

a) To assist in operating PLC/ SCADA based large beam centrifuge equipment available in the

Institute,

b) Provide day to day support to maintenance issues for ensuring smooth sunning of

centrifuge equipment,

c) Provide day to day support for maintaining various equipment accessories/

transducers and

d) to assist students working in the laboratory.

Compensation range

Pay Level 3 (21700-69100)

(Gross Pay includes Basic Pay + Dearness allowance + House Rent Allowance + Transport Allowance + Dearness allowance on Transport allowance)
