Job summary

Radiometer in Bengaluru is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing equipment performance and maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and assist with installation and validation of tools and equipment. You will collaborate with the engineering team to execute all equipment-related activities.

The role requires hands-on experience in the Manufacturing Engineering department, troubleshooting downtime, maintaining records, planning preventive maintenance, and guiding maintenance

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
• Experience: 4 - 5 years of Experience in Automation equipment Maintenance
• Skills: Proficiency in CMMS, PLM, Knowledge of Automation, PLCs, MS Office, MS Excel, Pneumatics, and electrical/electronic components

• Hands-on troubleshooting to minimize production downtime and support equipment performance
• Lead maintenance technicians and supervise tasks with training and performance evaluations

Position Summary

Maintenance Engineer will work with manufacturing support for equipment performance and maintenance. This role will support continuous improvement initiatives and support the installation and validation of tools and equipment. This person will work closely with the engineering team to execute all equipment-related activities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

This position is part of the Engineering Function and will be in Bengaluru. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Hands-on experience in the Manufacturing Engineering Department and will be the primary support to production in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing equipment downtime to ensure maximum output. You will work closely with Production and Engineering to monitor equipment status and performance. Lead initiatives to proactively identify and resolve problems using suitable troubleshooting and repair methods. Be accountable for the accurate execution and documentation of all repairs and adjustments made to equipment and tools. In addition, you will assess the equipment’s performance and repair history and work with engineers to plan a preventative maintenance schedule as well as work on equipment upgrades as appropriate. Creating maintenance procedures and reports. Lead, supervise, and delegate tasks to maintenance technicians while ensuring effective training, guidance, and performance management through structured evaluations. Execute installations of instruments/equipment and documentation as per requirement

Training Responsibilities

• (REQUIRED) Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
• Responsible for driving assemblers’ engagement and for developing DBS, Lean and Six Sigma capabilities through coaching and mentoring
• Provide and facilitate training to Manufacturing personnel and peers in equipment processes, validations, instructions, quality requirements, upgrades, or changes

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
• Experience: 4 - 5 years of Experience in Automation equipment Maintenance
• Skills: Proficiency in CMMS, PLM, Knowledge of Automation, PLCs Knowledge of working with MS Office, MS Excel Knowledge of pneumatics actuators and cylinders Familiarity with electrical/electronic components, automation, robotics, sensors, fiber optics, and motors
• Minimum Requirements for Competent technical staff: Fill the details for Competent technical staff for supervision of the manufacturing activity or Competent technical staff for supervision the testing activity as per MDR, 2017 rules 22

Preferred Requirements

• Must have a solid understanding of interpreting manuals and schematics and have a strong knowledge of mechanical alignment and the troubleshooting of automated mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment Knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, MTTF, Autonomous, Predictive, Corrective & Preventive Maintenance Experience working in a regulated work environment (ISO, GMP, and Medical Device 9001,14001,13485)
