Job summary

Egon Zehnder is seeking a motivated Jr IT Ops Engineer to join our Global Helpdesk in Gurgaon. You will provide first-line IT support to employees globally, handling Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity management, security, and workplace technologies.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, provisioning, MFA administration, and collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams. This role requires a customer-focused mindset and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: B. Tech/MCA
• 2-4 years in IT Helpdesk, IT Operations, Service Desk, or End User Support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft technologies and SLA-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for incidents, service requests, and end-user technical issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, Exchange Online, OWA, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and calendaring services.
• Monitor operational dashboards, alerts, and service queues while ensuring adherence to SLAs.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Jr. IT Ops Engineer / IT Ops Engineer to join our Global Helpdesk team. You will provide first-line IT support to employees globally while supporting Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity management, security, and workplace technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for incidents, service requests, and end-user technical issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, Exchange Online, OWA, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and calendaring services.
• Manage user lifecycle activities including provisioning, modifications, deactivations, password resets, access requests, and MFA administration.
• Troubleshot Windows endpoints, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktop environments, and Microsoft applications.
• Support endpoint management through Intune and SCCM.
• Assist with Azure AD (Entra ID) administration and access-related requests.
• Monitor operational dashboards, alerts, and service queues while ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.
• Maintain knowledge articles, process documentation, and operational procedures.
• Participating in rotational shifts, weekend support, major incident activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
