Job summary

CBTS invites applications for a Jr. Engineer - Data Warehouse to support development, maintenance, and monitoring of data warehouse solutions. You will perform data integration, modelling, testing, and operational tasks under guidance to deliver reliable data for reporting and analytics.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver work on time, while following data governance, security, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining data warehouse tables, data models, and ETL/ELT pipelines based on defined designs and standards.
• Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting requirements.
• Support data ingestion from source systems and help troubleshoot routine pipeline, data quality, and job-scheduling issues.
• Perform unit testing, reconciliation, and documentation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
• Monitor scheduled workloads and performance, availability, or access issues in line with support procedures.
• Follow established data governance, security, privacy, naming, version-control, and deployment practices.
