Overview

Reputed Manufacturing Company Requires Mechanical Design Engineer in Rajkot.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete machines using CAD software.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings including dimensions, tolerances (GD&T), materials, and surface finishes.
• Ensure that all designs are practical for manufacturing and assembly with minimal rework.
• Generate and maintain BOMs for all projects and ensure consistency with designs and drawings.
• Update existing designs based on feedback, testing, or change requests from production or quality teams.
• Follow internal and external engineering standards such as ISO, DIN, ASME, etc., in all design outputs.
• Maintain proper design documentation, drawing numbers, revision history, and ensure secure storage of design data.

Requirements

• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA).
• Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles.
