Responsibilities:

• Initiate design project from concept to completion.
• Define project requirements and schedule in the presentation.
• Interprets and translates client needs into sketches.
• Develop project costs and fees based on budget.
• Conducts research and determines supply of materials and products.
• Create "samples" and "mood products".
• Oversee progress on work.
• Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and manufacturers.
• Research and monitor industry changes, developments and best practices.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated professional experience in interior design (consultations, renovations, space planning and new construction).
• Expertise in page layout, color, lighting, material choice, custom furniture and all facilities.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
