The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack & Platform Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and platform services using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, APIs, and cloud-native technologies. You will be responsible for delivering scalable backend services, intuitive frontend experiences, robust integrations, and highly observable systems. The role requires hands‑on technical expertise across architecture, development, CI/CD, observability, and production support while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Engineering Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, reusable, and maintainable REST APIs and integration services.
• Implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions where appropriate.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Frontend Development Develop modern web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable UI components and follow enterprise design standards.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences.
• Collaborate with UX and Product teams to deliver intuitive solutions.
• Database & Data Engineering Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, indexing strategies, and performance improvements.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and application reliability.
• Support database migration and data validation activities when required.
• Solution Design & Architecture Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Participate in architectural reviews and technical design discussions.
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to the platform architecture.
• API & Integration Engineering Design and maintain internal and external APIs.
• Build integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and monitoring standards.
• Promote reusable integration patterns and shared engineering frameworks.
• Observability & Reliability Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions.
• Build and maintain observability dashboards and operational metrics.
• Support proactive incident detection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Improve system health, reliability, and operational excellence.
• DevOps & CI/CD Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate testing, code quality checks, security scans, and deployments.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices.
• Enable frequent, reliable, and low-risk production releases.
• Collaboration Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and Platform teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and engineering reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth.
• Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands‑on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Solid experience building REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Experience developing frontend applications using ReactJS.
• Strong PostgreSQL database design and performance tuning skills.
• Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, and solution design documentation.
• Good understanding of observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills / Experience

• Experience with: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar) Docker and containerized applications Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Git and modern software development practices Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Application Insights, Splunk, or similar. Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, security, and resiliency patterns. Experience contributing to HLD, LLD, architecture reviews, and technical governance.
