Job summary

Vaishnavi Jewels (Vaishnavi Gem & Jewel Pvt Ltd) in Surat is hiring a Jewellery Designer to create new designs for showroom collections and customer orders. Fresh designers are welcome and must relocate if coming from other cities. On-site, full-time role with salary based on skills and experience.

The candidate should have strong manual sketching or Procreate skills and a portfolio. CAD basics (Rhino/MatrixGold) and knowledge of diamonds can be a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong manual jewellery sketching and/or Procreate jewellery design skills.
• A portfolio of your jewellery designs.
• A jewellery design course, diploma or degree is preferred.
• CAD basics (Rhino / MatrixGold) and knowledge of diamonds and gemstones are a plus.
• Police verification and one local Surat reference (not a family member) are required before joining.

Responsibilities

• Hand-sketch jewellery concepts (rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles and bridal sets).
• Create detailed designs and renders in Procreate (iPad).
• Turn customer ideas and reference photos into design options.
• Work with our manufacturing team so every design is practical to make.
• Keep an organised design library.

Vaishnavi Jewels (Vaishnavi Gem & Jewel Pvt Ltd) is a certified diamond jewellery showroom and manufacturer in Surat since 2005. We are hiring a full-time Jewellery Designer to create new designs for our showroom collections and for customers' custom orders. Fresh designers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• create detailed designs and renders in Procreate (iPad)
