Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional-Technical Business Analyst in Bangalore/Chennai. The role combines financials configuration with hands-on development across GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management, delivering end-to-end solutions.

You will lead requirements, design technical objects, and implement orchestrations, while ensuring month-end and year-end close processes run smoothly. Hybrid work setup in India.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience.
• Hands-on depth in Financials functional configuration and JDE development.
• Deep knowledge of JDE 9.2 Financials: AAIs, chart of accounts, payment processing, period-end close.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, GL, subledger reconciliation, audit controls.
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for JDE Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Mgmt).
• Design, develop, test, and support JDE technical objects in EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Configure JDE Financials setups, including COA, AAIs, and invoicing workflows.
• Deliver full RICE component development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
• Design and implement Orchestrations using JDE Orchestrator/AIS framework.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and propose best-practice solutions within JDE 9.2.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities; write/test SQL scripts.

Job & Division Summary: We are seeking a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional-Technical Business Analyst with deep, hands-onexpertisespanning both JDE Financials and JDE technical development. This dual-capability role owns end-to-end delivery – from business requirements through technical build and UAT sign-off – serving as a force-multiplier across the functional and technical tracks that support our IT organization, without needing to hand off between teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end business analysis for JDE Financials modules – General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management – gathering, documenting, andvalidatingrequirements from finance stakeholders.

Design, develop, test, and support JDE technical objects in EnterpriseOne 9.2 (UBEs/RDA, Interactive Applications, Event Rules, Business Functions, Business Views, Tables, and Data Dictionary items) independently, without reliance on a separate developer resource.

Configure and maintain JDE Financials setups, including chart of accounts, Automatic Accounting Instructions (AAIs), payment processing rules, invoicing workflows, and period-end close procedures.

Deliver full RICEcomponentdevelopment (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) aligned to Financials business processes, from technical design through deployment.

Design and implement Orchestrations using the JDE Orchestrator/AIS framework, and develop User Defined Objects (Form Extensions, Grid Formats, Watchlists, Composite Pages,CafeOnelayouts, and Queries).

Conduct fit-gap analyses, proposing best-practice solutions within JDE 9.2 and defining workarounds or custom development where standard functionality is insufficient.

Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, including reconciliation, balance validation, journal entry review, and system readiness checks.

Facilitate requirement workshops and UAT sessions with finance stakeholders, owning test script creation, defect triage, and sign-off, while writing andoptimizingSQL for data extraction and troubleshooting.

MandatoryRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

12+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience, with current, hands-on depth in both Financials functional configuration and JDE technical development.

Deep working knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 Financials: AAIs, processing options, chart of accounts design, payment processing, and period-end close.

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles: general ledger structures, subledger reconciliation, intercompany accounting, and audit controls.

Hands-on technicalproficiencywith JDE 9.2 development tools: Event Rules, Business Functions (BSFN – NER and C), UBEs/RDA, Table and Business View development, and OMW project management.

DesiredSkills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, able to diagnose issues at both the accounting logic and code/data level.

Excellent functional documentation skills, including BRDs, FDDs, process flow diagrams, and test scripts.

Strong SQL skills for data extraction, profiling, validation, and troubleshooting in a JDE Oracle or SQL Server database environment.

riencewith REST APIs or file-based integrations connecting JDE Financials with third-party platforms (banking, tax, consolidation tools).

Familiarity with ETL platforms used for structured data migration and transformation.

Exposure to BI Publisher or One View Reporting (OVR) for financial reporting and statutory output.

Knowledge of adjacent JDE modules – Procurement, Sales Order Management, or Project Accounting – particularly where they post to Financials.

JD Edwards or Oracle ERP certification.
