The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of JDE development experience, strong SQL/C/C++, and familiarity with JDE tools, tax/localization, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development.
• Minimum 2 years with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Proficiency in JDE tools such as BI Publisher, Orchestrator, BSFN, and Table Design/UDOs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, C/C++, and JDE toolsets.
• Familiarity with JDE Finance modules, statutory and localizations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy configurations, customizations, and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.
• Expertise in JDE 9.2 Finance modules; manage complex problems with awareness of business impact.
• Collaborate with business SMEs to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities and fix issues.
• Develop and maintain JDE reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks; participate in upgrades/patches.
• Analyze market trends and source software/solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and basic programming for configuration/enhancement, including gen AI or RPA.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and provide technical docs/training.

Job & Division Summary

We are seeking a skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise One 9.2 Application Developer, expert in Finance modules, to design, develop, support, and optimize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE development tools and a solid understanding of business processes in General Accounting (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost accounting, and other ERP modules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy configurations, customizations, and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.
• Expertise in JDE 9.2 Finance modules; manage complex problems with awareness of business impact.
• Collaborate as a trusted advisor with business subject‑matter experts to gather requirements, analyze, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities and correct programming errors, respond to scope changes, and code application enhancements.
• Develop and maintain JDE reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and service outages and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Analyze market trends in new applications and development tools, and source/identify software/solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and basic programming for complex systems configuration and enhancement, including gen AI or RPA solutions.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Provide technical documentation and end‑user training as needed.
• Estimate cost and effort of enhancements/solutions.
• Support strategic planning and roadmap development.
• Coach, review and delegate work to lower‑level and 3rd party professionals.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Recognized subject‑matter expert in Finance with solid understanding of accounting principles, financial close, and audit requirements.
• 4–10 years of experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development, with a minimum of 2 years with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Proficiency in JDE development tools such as BI Publisher, Orchestrator, Business Functions (BSFN), and Table Design and UDOs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, C/C++, and JDE toolsets.
• Familiarity with JDE Finance modules, tax structures, statutory and government compliance requirements, regulatory reporting, and audit with country‑specific localizations.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Excellent active listening and persuasion skills.
