Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role as the primary liaison between the ATS Global IT group and other ATS divisions or departments that utilize enterprise systems or data combining technical acumen, business acuity, and industry knowledge to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our enterprise systems, with a specific focus on JD Edwards modules like Inventory Management, Procurement Management, Sales Order Management and Advanced Pricing, Advanced Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business systems and processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, system owners, and project teams to gather, validate, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
• Lead solution design workshops and prototyping sessions to enhance business processes, operations, and information flow.
• Support the preparation of project proposals and contribute to project planning activities.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle JD Edwards 9.2 applications and modules.
• Participate in the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain process models, technical specifications, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.
• Coordinate and execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing for new and enhanced applications.
• Provide post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption and system performance.
• Deliver training and guidance to end users on system functionality, processes, and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements, business processes, technical specifications, and data models to support solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve system defects using established problem-solving methodologies.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Apply project management best practices to support successful project execution and delivery.
• Maintain a strong understanding of key business processes and their associated technical requirements.
• Manage and resolve end-user support tickets related to enterprise applications and systems.
• Document user information, issue details, root causes, corrective actions, and resolution outcomes.Prioritize, coordinate, and track system enhancements, change requests, and defect resolution activities.
• Monitor and document the end-to-end issue resolution process to ensure timely closure and continuous improvement.
• Communicate system changes, project updates, risks, and issue resolutions to business and IT stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and operational needs.

Skills & Experience

Experience : 5+ years

• Oracle JDE 9.2 application and configuration skills.
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling and data modelling.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
• Hands-on technical writing and editing experience, with specific experience in documenting information technology software and systems.
• Working knowledge of project management best practices.
• Knowledge of key business processes and a strong understanding of the technical requirements for those key processes.

Qualification

• Engineering or MCA graduate, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preference to Candidate with domain experience.
• JDE Configuration experience of at least 5 years or more.
• Nice to have skills include: JDE Orchestration Studio, SQL, UDOs
