Job summary

Metlife Hyderabad is hiring an Automation Tester to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web apps. The role focuses on JavaScript-based testing using Selenium WebDriver and modern frameworks like WebdriverIO, Playwright, or Cypress.

The candidate will contribute to AI-enabled testing, REST API validation, and database checks, collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure robust quality across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automation testing experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks (WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress).
• Knowledge of AI-enabled testing platforms/tools.
• Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman or libraries.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

Required Skills/Technical Skills
