Job summary

retailcloud is seeking a Senior Java Tech Lead & Architect to steer the architecture, design, and development of its core backend platform. You will drive scalable, secure, high-performance solutions across Billing, F&B, Mobile POS, Omni-Channel, and ERP integrations.

You will mentor engineering teams, establish architectural best practices, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver robust distributed systems that support retailcloud's growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Senior (8+ years) with prior experience as a Technical Lead or Architect on large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience architecting and building large-scale backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, microservices, Spring Boot, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, distributed microservices using Spring Boot and Java 8+.
• Provide technical leadership, team building, mentoring, and guidance to the development team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and optimize caching strategies, batch processing frameworks, and messaging systems.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of databases with expertise in SQL and query optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide reliable solutions for large-scale systems.
