Job summary

Randstad Enterprise is seeking an experienced software engineering leader for backend development in Java and enterprise integrations. The role involves guiding a small team, defining technical direction, and collaborating with product owners in an Agile environment.

The candidate should have 8+ years in software engineering, prior tech leadership, and experience with system integrations and APIs. HR tech exposure is a plus; strong on-call and production operations experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, predominantly in Java and enterprise back-end development.
• 2+ years leading engineers — as a tech lead, team lead or engineering manager — including responsibility for the technical direction and development of others; formal line management experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrable experience designing and delivering system-to-system integrations and APIs in an enterprise environment, including working directly with third-party or client technical teams.
• Experience operating production services at scale, including on-call or escalation responsibility, incident management and root cause analysis.
• Experience working in Agile delivery with product owners and distributed teams, and of
• Experience in HR technology, recruitment technology, staffing or a comparable data-integration-heavy domain is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Seniority: middle management — a senior individual technical contributor who also carries formal people management responsibility for a small team.
