JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java Development, Microservices Architecture, Technical Leadership, and Team Management. The ideal candidate will lead development teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver scalable enterprise applications within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers across multiple projects.
• Drive solution design, technical architecture, and development best practices.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
• Drive Microservices design and implementation using modern architecture principles.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Support release planning, estimation, resource planning, and project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
• Promote Agile/Scrum practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and support their technical growth and career development.

Skills Required

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience in Technical Design and Solution Development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID Principles.
• Experience leading development teams and managing deliverables.
• Expertise in REST APIs, API Integration, and Enterprise Applications.
• Experience with Kafka, Messaging Systems, or Event-Driven Architecture.
• Strong database experience with Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

Leadership Experience

• Proven experience in technical leadership and team management.
• Ability to guide development teams through design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience in effort estimation, sprint planning, and project tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Quarkus Framework and Hexagonal Architecture is an added advantage.

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead role.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
