Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Java Tech Lead for our Chennai (TechM-Chennai-ELCOT) office. The role requires 7+ years of hands-on Java, J2EE, Spring technology, and strong Microservices experience in banking domains.

You will lead development, production support, and maintenance activities while managing a 5+ member team and interfacing with customers daily. Office-based, 5 days/week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with Java techlead roles.
• Banking domain experience is preferred.
• Hands-on with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, Web services, Eclipse, Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of JDK 1.8+.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development, production support and maintenance activities.
• Manage 5+ team members and lead the customer interface on a daily basis.
• Ensure timesheets and invoicing are completed on time.
• Create technical specification documents and track tickets/incidents to closure.
• Ensure delivery team adheres to SLA/KPIs/OLAs and follows Software Quality processes.
• Promote teamwork, mentor subordinates, and deliver projects independently.

We are having Openings for Java Techlead for one of our clients@ Tech Mahindra.

Location: TechM-Chennai-ELCOT

Experience: 7-12 Years

Mode of work- 5 days work from Office

Job Summary:

7 + years of relevant experience. Banking domain experience is preferred.

Hands on experience for Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring framework, Spring boot, Microservices,web services, Eclipse, Oracle and PL/SQL, .

Should have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in JDK 1.8+

Should have strong expertise in SOA and Microservices

People and Team Management experience.

Experience in BFSI domain would be an added advantage. Should be able to work and deliver projects independently.

Should be able to manage 5+ team members. Good to have knowledge about encryption and security. Lead project development, production support and maintenance activities.

Fill in and ensure timesheets are completed, as is the invoicing process, on or before the deadline. Lead the customer interface for the project on an everyday basis, proactively addressing any issues before they are escalated.

Create technical specification documents. Track open tickets/ incidents in queue and allocate tickets to resources and ensure that the tickets are closed within the deadlines. Ensure analysts adhere to SLA/KPIs/OLAs. Ensure that all in the delivery team, including self, are constantly thinking of ways to do things faster, better or in a more economic manner. Lead and ensure project is in compliance with Software Quality Processes and within timelines. Review functional and technical specification documents. Serve as the single point of contact for the team to the project stakeholders. Promote teamwork, motivate, mentor, and develop subordinates. Provide application production support as per process/RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) Matrix.
