HSBC Holdings is seeking an experienced Consultant Specialist to join HSBC Software Development India in Hyderabad. You will design, code and test Java Spring Boot microservices in a cloud environment, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

The role requires strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and API tooling, with a focus on scalable cloud-based solutions and performance improvements.

Competenze

• Strong Java Springboot and microservices design experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience and container orchestration.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Familiar with OAuth, JWT, XML/JSON and API specs.
• DevOps mindset with Agile practices; Confluence/JIRA usage.
• Solid SQL skills with CloudSQL/PostgreSQL/BigQuery knowledge.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Understand the Design and Requirements and develop and execute custom application features and functions
• Design, Code, Test, Debug, Java Spring boot programs in Cloud environment
• Create estimates for small to medium size projects
• Create high level design and as well as analyse and develop code as per specifications
• Review of design/code/Unit test results
• Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome
• Support production deployment and post development implementation activities
• Perform application support as necessary; participate and drive the Crisis Calls for production incidents
• Identify and work on system performance improvement

To be successful, you will:

• Strong knowledge of Java Springboot. kafka and has the ability to design and implement micro services using the Spring boot framework
• Experience in micro services architecture. Thorough Understanding of OOPS concept. Fair exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with the following tools and technologies: OAuth, JWT, XML, RAML, SWAGGER, JSON, SOAP, XSLT
• Hands-on experience in using and developing Continuous Integration pipeline using Jenkins, Maven, and other CI tools used in DevOps ecosystem
• Fair knowledge and experience of DevOps & Agile discipline. Confluence, JIRA, Unix / Linux
• Strong experience on complex SQL queries. Cloud technology and application support on cloud (GCP knowledge is appreciated)
• Strong knowledge of databases (CloudSQL/Postgresql/Bigquery). Strong interpersonal and communications skills
