Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer with GCP experience to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java, Spring, and microservices expertise, plus hands-on GCP and container orchestration skills.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, implementing CI/CD, and ensuring security, performance, and reliability across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Core Java (8/11/17+).
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Strong microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and Agile/Scrum.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer with GCP experience to design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• GCP Certifications will be an added advantage.
