Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Scala, and Microservices-based application development. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Vertica databases, basic knowledge of Akka for Move Services, and exposure to ETL development using Apache Spark. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of analyzing and resolving customer-reported issues in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Scala, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and performant backend services.
• Work with Vertica databases for data management, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Support and enhance Move Services with a basic understanding of the Akka framework.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Apache Spark.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, and support teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
