Job summary

Training Basket seeks a Java backend developer to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, build scalable microservices, and integrate frontend applications and third-party services.

You will work with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security, implement JWT/OAuth 2.0, and test with Postman/Swagger in an Agile environment. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP concepts, Collections, Streams, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and HTTP methods.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and API integration.
• Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API response handling.
• Experience with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
