Job summary

FIS is seeking a proactive professional to join the Application Excellence team in delivering Level 3 production support for critical applications. You will analyze code, architecture, and business requirements to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure solutions meet product standards.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of work experience with Java 8+ and related tech.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, OO programming, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and modernisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own client needs and requests and ensure changes are verified.
• Maintain client changes, prepare for and attend client issue calls.
• Lead meetings, document communications with clients and stakeholders.
• Assess impact across components and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Consult on system design and availability of value-added products.
• Keep systems and modules up to date and build client relationships.

About the team

You will be part of ourApplication Excellence team, working closely with Clients, Business stakeholders, and Incident Management teams to provide Level 3 production support for critical applications. You will analyse code,architectureand business requirements to troubleshoot issues, implementenhancementsand ensure solutions align with product standards. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and Architects, you will drive root cause analysis, recommend designimprovementsand deliver high-quality changes that enhance application stability,performanceand user experience.

WhatYou will be doing

• Accountable for ownership ofclient’sneeds and requests.

• Complete client maintenance as requested, ensuring verification of changes with quality and accuracy. Prepare for andattendsestablished client issues calls.

• Participate in orfacilitateinternal and external meetings,assistsin research, factfindingand in preparing proper documentation. Prepare for andattendsestablished development meetings. Document andmaintainany communication with clients.

• Able todetermineimpact across component lines of development,issuesor client requests. Facilitates knowledge transfer between ongoing projects and client issues to ensure componentsare meetingclient and TSYS needs. Helpdeterminealternatives to meet client needs or increase revenue opportunities for TSYS. Mayrepresentdepartmentin various focus groups.

• Understand and consult on system design,utilizationand availability ofvalue-addedproducts andisable to offer product alternatives. Understand client’s strategic needs

• Keepcurrent onsystem and module enhancements. Serve as authority on all module/client-related issues. Develop high-level client relationships. Document any communication withclient.

• May support orparticipatein the execution of client consultant job duties. Seek opportunities to stay current and expand technicalexpertise. Sell TSYS andoffersproduct alternatives.

• Continue to develop andmaintainpositive working relationships with various areas withinTSYSorganization.

• To solve any client software problems relating to TSYS software,identifybugs using various tools and provide solution

• Establish a positive rapport with the client(s) to develop andmaintainlong term relationships to understand client(s) business needs,objectivesand expectations.

• First line of contact with the clients, requiring full accountability and ownership for meeting Client's needs and demands, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (may carry a company mobile). Responsible for focusing on core business needsrelativeto assignedcomponent(s) with proactive drives in delivering various client requirements to ensure overall success.

• Understand and adhere to department practices, procedures, and methodologies. Maintain an extensive knowledge of the industry, transaction processing, and/or financialservicesbusinesses. Perform detailed and complex analysis, issue resolution, developmental requests, and change controls to select system components, whilemaintaininga high levelof system data integrity, focusingto ensureoverall success.

Whatyou bring

• 3 to 5 years of work experience withworkingknowledgeon Java8 and above,Junits,Springboot, ReactJS, Java Script,Kafka,RESTFulAPI

• Well-versed in Object Oriented programming, Microservices Basedarchitecture

• Good working knowledge of Oracle Pl/Sql

• Hands-on experience of modernization tools such as G5, Liquibase, Git,Jenkinsand AWS

Added Bonusif you have

Previousexperience withpayment systemplatforms

Knowledge in Payment Systems processes and cycles: Issuing, Authorization, Clearing and Settlement

Familiar with ISO 8583 message format
