Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and scale cloud-native backend systems in Bengaluru. You will build data pipelines, work with AWS/Azure services, and optimize database workloads (SQL, DynamoDB, RDS) while championing serverless architectures and IaC with Terraform.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years IT experience, deep Java/Python expertise, and a strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience required.
• Strong programming in Java and Python.
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong SQL and database management experience.
• Experience with DynamoDB and RDS.
• Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
