Job description

Role: Java Production Support
Experience: 5 to 9 years
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Chennai & Hyderabad


Technical Skills
  1. Operating System: Windows, UNIX, LINUX
  2. Environments: DEV, UAT, PROD and DR servers
  3. Version Control and DevOps tool: BITBUCKET (git), Kubernetes, docker, Jenkins, ansible, Bamboo (Need basic knowledge)
  4. DB: RDBMS, Oracle 19C
  5. Programming Languages: Java 8, J2EE, Software AG Web methods (good to have), Shell Scripting, Spring boot, XML SOAP, Web Services
  6. Protocols: FTP, SFTP, FTPS, IPM, MQ, JMS

Responsibilities
  1. Very strong in SDLC
  2. Well-versed with JIRA, Confluence and Service Now
  3. Strong troubleshooting/problem solving abilities
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  5. Willing to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
  6. Functional knowledge of banking domain and Payment applications is an added advantage
  7. Should be very strong in Unix shell scripting
  8. Should be able to work under pressure situations and willing to stretch during critical production issues
  9. Responsible for ensuring systems and applications run smoothly by identifying problems and providing smart workaround solutions
  10. Troubleshoot issues and quickly amend large payment files to correct errors and process through the system
  11. Manage team ticket queue and resolve in a timely manner
  12. Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation
  13. Troubleshoot minor and major system problems in a timely manner
  14. Monitor and provide support to workflows and provide expert knowledge on all workflow designs
  15. Provide 24/7 operational support to all production practices on holidays and weekends
  16. Monitor all alerts and escalate all issues for all procedures and systems
  17. Coordinate with various teams and raise support tickets for all issues, analyze root causes, and assist in efficient resolution of all production processes
  18. Maintain logs of all issues and ensure resolutions according to quality assurance tests for all production processes
  19. Suggest product improvements to enhance production support services
