Job summary

Altimetrik Bangalore is hiring a seasoned Java Developer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable Java applications, with a focus on REST APIs and microservices.

You will work with AWS cloud services, implement CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment. On-site at Devanahalli location; immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Proficient in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including:

• API Gateway
• RDS
• CloudWatch
• IAM
• SNS/SQS
• Experience with REST APIs and Web Services.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification (Associate/Professional level).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Exposure to Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience with Java.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud
