Job summary

Virtusa in India is seeking an experienced software professional to design and deliver scalable Java-based solutions using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and J2EE.

You will work on microservices with CI/CD pipelines, and deploy on Kubernetes and GCP, including Terraform and BigQuery services.

The role requires strong experience in Java ecosystems, cloud deployments, and DevOps practices, with a focus on scalable, reliable architectures.

Qualifications

Job description

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related field/experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience working with technology teams to deliver business and technical solutions leveraging your skills with Java, WebSphere, Rest API, Fuse, Kafka and JSON
• Experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, Web Services, REST API development and consumption
• Experience with implementation of Microservices using Spring Boot and CI/CD tools on Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Experience with development of RESTful web services using JAX-RS and used Swagger for REST API documentation.
• Build and maintain code repositories and code migrations using CI/CD strategies (GIT, SVN, CSV, Jenkins).
• Experience with creating and maintaining architecture for Restful API using Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience and proven understanding of DevOps, continuous integration, container-based applications, cloud deployment architectures.Experience with GCP infrastructure
• Hands on experience with GCP Products like Cloud Run , Terraform , Big Table, Big Query
