Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications with secure backend APIs. You will collaborate with UI/UX, product managers, and other developers to implement features and deliver responsive frontend components using ReactJS.

The role requires strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud awareness. You will participate in agile cycles, conduct code reviews, and optimize performance while staying current with industry best

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend development with Java and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, npm/yarn, and version control Git.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications with scalable and secure backend APIs
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement features
• Develop responsive, high-quality front-end components using Angular or ReactJS
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices
• Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development cycles (sprints)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the backend and frontend
• Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies to incorporate improvements

Software Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher), including Spring Boot and Spring MVC
• Expertise in JavaScript, with experience in ReactJS
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus
• Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, npm/yarn, and version control Git
• Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker; CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable
