Job summary

Zensar in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Java developer to join our core engineering team. You will work on large-scale microservices, REST APIs, and data integration projects, using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Kafka, and modern CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem solving, design patterns, and communication skills are essential to collaborate across agile squads.

You will mentor juniors, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-growing delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Hands-on with core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, API, Spring MVC, and Web services (JSON/SOAP).
• Experience building microservices and deploying on PCF or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Knowledge of design patterns and security concepts; strong Agile experience.

Mandatory Skills:- Core Java Java 8 +, Spring Boot JPA, REST API, Microservices, Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture, Database(SQL No- SQL), CI/CD Pipeline, GIT, Problem Solving ability, Design Pattern Principals

• Overall Career Experience of 6+ years into Java Development
• Essential knowledge, skills & attributes
• Hands on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, API, Spring (MVC, IOC, AOP, Security), Web-services (JSON and SOAP), Kafka, Zookeeper
• Hands on experience of developing microservice application & deploying them on any one of the pcf
• Hands on experience of using Intellij/Eclipse/My Eclipse IDE
• Hands on experience of writing Junit test cases, working with Maven/Ant/Gradle, GIT
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Experience of working with Agile methodologies.
• Personal attributes are strong logical and Analytical Skills, design skills, strong communication written and verbal skills
• Knowledge of Security concepts (E.g. authentication, authorization, confidentiality etc.) and protocols, their usage in enterprise application
