Job summary

Reserve Bank Information Technology is seeking an experienced senior IT leader to drive end-to-end project delivery and ensure alignment with the Secure SDLC.

The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, architects, QA and development management to plan, design and test deliverables, manage risks, and report progress against the COE roadmap and KPIs. Based in Navi Mumbai, the position offers leadership in a high-security, financial-domain environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and development management to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Accountable for comprehensive project planning with architecture alignment across teams.
• Guide technology delivery to meet plan while adhering to Secure SDLC.
• Proactively manage risks and issues to mitigate impact.
• Apply sound judgment for senior-level decisions with assertiveness.
• Coordinate with RBI department leads to fulfill requirements.
• Foster innovation by adopting and implementing new ideas.
• Provide regular reporting on project, product, and COE roadmap and KPIs.
• Collaborate with PMO to ensure visibility and stakeholder alignment.

Job description

• Leadership - Lead and work closely with all members of the team, including business analysts, architects, QA, and development management to ensure all aspects from intake, requirements, design, and testing are fit for purpose and delivered in a timely manner for planning and execution. Train and develop team to ensure that, there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
• Planning - Accountable for all project planning activities. Ensuring full engagement of relevant architects to provide solution design and overall architecture alignment
• Technology delivery - lead the project delivery as per project plan while guiding team on technical as well as functional aspect and adhere to the Secure SDLC process
• Risk and Issue Management - Ability to proactively manage risk and issues for the workstream in a timely manner and have the confidence to make decisions to mitigate or resolve when required.
• Problem solving and decision making - Sound judgment at a senior management level using assertiveness and influencing skills to ensure items are discussed and decisions made and agreed in a timely manner.
• Stakeholder Management Work closely with RBI department leads / managers to fulfil all requirements.
• Innovation: Adopt to ReBIT’s innovation culture by bringing and implementing new ideas
• Reporting - Ensure reporting is provided as required on a regular basis against project/product and COE roadmap, plans and any performance KPI's defined for your teams.
• Communication - Working closely and collaboratively with the Project management office to identify and manage all stakeholders, providing visibility and transparency
