Job summary

You will work on mission-critical projects with Agile teams, contribute to backend development, CI/CD, and cloud-enabled delivery, while continually learning and applying modern Java practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Maven.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications following engineering standards.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper validation and secure communication.
• Write clean, modular code using OO design patterns.
• Implement business logic and backend integrations.
• Write optimized SQL queries and ensure data access efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support CI/CD activities.
• Continuously learn modern Java frameworks and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications ensuring clean, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper validation, exception handling, and secure communication practices.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following object-oriented principles and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and MVC.
• Implement business logic and backend integrations to support seamless interaction between applications, databases, and external systems.
• Work with relational databases by writing optimized SQL queries and ensuring efficient data access and transaction handling.
• Follow secure coding, quality, and development standards to minimize defects and improve application reliability.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve functional and performance-related issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing, deployment, and end-to-end delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD processes including build automation, deployment activities, and environment configuration.
• Continuously learn modern Java frameworks, tools, and cloud technologies to improve development efficiency and delivery quality.
