Job summary

D‑Techworks is seeking a Java backend developer with 4–6 years of experience to build robust, scalable services in a Cloud Native environment. You will work with Java SE 12+ and Spring Boot, implement TDD, and design APIs while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Experience with Hibernate/JPA, RESTful services, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Proficiency in AWS services and API testing tools like Postman/Swagger is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Java development.
• Proficient in Java SE 12+ with knowledge of Generics, Reflection, Multithreading.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Boot) and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and API testing with Postman/Swagger.

• Design server-side architecture and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and scope new features.
• Develop and maintain APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Strong exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD), Design Driven Development, and Cloud Native Development
• Proficient in Java SE 12+ with hands-on experience in:
  • Generics, Reflection, Multithreading
  • Annotations, JPA, JMS
  • Functional Programming, Lambda Expressions, Java Streams
• Experience with build and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Boot) for building web applications and services
• Experience with MS SQL and database design, query optimization
• Hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Postman / Swagger for API testing and documentation
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of application security (authentication, authorization, data protection)
• Good to have experience with AWS services:
  • SQS, Lambda, S3
  • Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, ECS
