Job summary

LTM in Pune, India, is seeking a senior Java developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful services, implementing robust testing, and collaborating in an Agile environment.

Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes, database queries, and cloud-aware practices is expected. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong coding standards, familiarity with CI/CD, logging, and performance optimization

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Core JAVA, Java 7/8/11/17
• Spring Boot expertise including configuration and global exception handling
• Experience with REST API development and microservices patterns
• Knowledge of logging tools like Splunk and Log4j
• Hands-on with JUnit/Mockito for unit testing
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
• Experience with Oracle or MySQL and writing complex queries
• Understanding of HLD/LLD and development tools (IntelliJ/Eclipse)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Version control experience (Bitbucket/GitHub)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core Java applications with focus on performance and reliability
• Implement Spring Boot-based microservices and manage configurations, profiling and batch processing
• Design and implement REST APIs with proper error handling and testing
• Ensure code quality with SonarQube and unit tests (JUnit/Mockito)
• Implement API Gateway patterns and service discovery in microservices architecture
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes
• Write optimized SQL queries for Oracle/MySQL and handle procedures
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and maintain code in Bitbucket/GitHub

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in Core JAVA, JAVA 7/8/11/17, multithreading, SOLID principles, design patterns, exception handling, class loaders, functional programming
• Should be aware of coding best practices and capable of writing optimized codes
• Strong knowledge on Spring Boot. Should be aware of configuration of spring boot application, global exception handling, Spring Profiling, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud
• Should be aware of logging mechanisms like Splunk, Log4j etc
• Strong hands-on experience in Rest API and aware of concepts of classification of Rest API methods.
• Hands-on experience in Junit, Mokito etc unit test case frameworks and familiar with SonarQube or code quality tools.
• Have good working knowledge of Microservices design patterns, like, SAGA, CQRS, Circuit Breaker etc. Concepts of API Gateway and service discovery should be clear.
• Familiar with synchronous and asynchronous communications used in microservices
• Have knowledge of deployment mechanisms like Jenkins, Dockers and Kubernetes
• Have working experience in Oracle or MySql and should be able to write complex queries. Should be aware of functions and procedures.
• Have knowledge of HLD and LLD
• Have working knowledge of development tools like IntelliJ or Eclipse or NetBeans and SQL Developer
• Have followed Agile Methodology and aware of scrum
• Familiar with code repositories like BitBucket/Github.

Experience- 5 years to 8 years
