Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer for hybrid delivery of secure cloud native enterprise applications using Java, Spring, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. You will guide teams in GitHub, Copilot, Actions, Jenkins and container platforms, ensuring quality, observability, and governance alignment.

You will own end-to-end delivery and collaborate with onshore stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with strong Java and React.
• 3+ years leading or mentoring development teams.
• Proven microservices architecture and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, containerization and cloud-native patterns.
• Agile/Scrum practitioner comfortable with sprint-based delivery.
• Strong debugging skills across distributed systems.
• Nice-to-have: Kafka, Angular, Terraform / IaC, OAuth 2.0 / JWT, observability tooling.

Enable reliable integration with AWS and Azure services while ensuring quality observability and alignment with governance risk and compliance expectations.
