Job summary

Full Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, full-stack applications leveraging Spring Boot (Java), and modern frontend frameworks including ReactJS.

• Scalability & Performance: Develop and optimize backend systems with a core focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.


• API Design: Design and implement high-quality RESTful APIs to meet business requirements, documented using the OpenAPI specification, and tested with tools like Postman.


• Microservices & Containers: Implement resilient Microservices architecture and manage application deployment using container technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.


• Architecture Understanding : Have good exposure to Message queue based architecture , RabbitMQ , DRY concepts , focus on Code quality , security topics


• DevOps Mindset: Champion a 100% DevOps mindset and collaborate across teams to manage workflows and deployment.


• Testing & Quality: Ensure high-quality code through the development and execution of unit tests for Java and React applications, utilizing relevant testing frameworks, and participating in rigorous code reviews.


• Source Control & CI/CD: Manage source code version control using Git and utilize comprehensive DevOps toolsets, including GitHub, Jenkins, Containers, and OpenShift.


• System Deployment: Deploy highly available, scalable, maintainable, and monitored systems and services.


• Relational Databases: Design and implement relational databases using PostgreSQL, with strong expertise in writing SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data access.


• Data Integrity: Ensure robust data integrity and performance across all database systems.


• Agile Methodology: Proficiently work within the product delivery lifecycle using Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies, leveraging tools such as VersionOne.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Fundamental Principles: Strong foundational knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and the SOLID principles.


• Agile Methodology: Proficient in agile development, specifically experienced with SAFe and SCRUM methodologies.


• Java Proficiency: Strong expertise in the Java programming language (including JDK 8+) and its ecosystem.


• Frameworks & Tools: Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Hibernate, and build automation using Maven.


• Architecture: Proven ability to develop multithreaded, scalable applications and implement Microservices using Java/Spring Framework.


• API Development: Skilled in designing and implementing APIs, including RESTful web services and SOAP-based web services.


• Frontend Proficiency: Proficient in front-end development utilizing the React framework, npm, and JavaScript.


• Database Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL). Good to have: Specific experience with PostgreSQL and knowledge of NoSQL databases like MarkLogic.


• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and setting up CI/CD pipelines.


• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
