Job summary

Contactx Resource Management seeks an experienced Backend Engineer to lead teams and deliver scalable Java-based microservices. You will architect REST APIs, apply OAuth security, and work with Cloud GCP services and container orchestration.

Strong focus on CI/CD, testing, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of backend experience, deep Spring expertise, and hands-on cloud experience with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering with Java (8/11+)
• Experience leading teams, technical delivery and solution design
• Advanced expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
• Proven experience designing and delivering microservices architectures at scale
• Deep understanding of REST, API design, OAuth, event-driven patterns
• Must Hands-on GCP experience across multiple services (GKE/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, IAM)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Strong foundation in relational & NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging
• Expertise in unit/integration testing, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, resilience, performance, and security
• Good to have Snowflake exposure
