Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Hyderabad is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Angular, JSP, HTML, CSS, and databases.

You will work in a hybrid setup (3 days in Gachibowli) with Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle, Redis, and CI/CD practices to deliver scalable solutions and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
• Develop and enhance web applications using Core Java, JSP, HTML, CSS and Angular.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop reusable, clean, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Work with Azure SQL/PostgreSQL for database design, querying, data manipulation, and app integration.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
• Integrate and utilise Redis for caching and performance.
• Configure and maintain application builds using Maven and Gradle.
• Manage source code and version control using Git.
• Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot defects and production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews and testing efforts.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer with 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, Angular, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Redis, Maven, Git, and Gradle. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications, implementing new features, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
• Develop and enhance web applications using Core Java, JSP, HTML, CSS and Angular.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop reusable, clean, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Work with Azure SQL/PostgreSQL for database design, querying, data manipulation, and application integration.

• Integrate and utilise Redis for caching and improving application performance and scalability.
• Configure and maintain application builds using Maven and/or Gradle .
• Manage source code and version control using Git .
• Work with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, build automation, release management, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, integration problems, and production incidents.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and quality standards.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other development teams.
• Analyse existing applications and identify opportunities for performance improvement, refactoring, and modernisation.
• Participate in application deployment, release activities, and post‑deployment support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application components and development processes.
• Follow established SDLC, security, coding, testing, and deployment practices.
