Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Java Developer to build high-performing, scalable enterprise-grade applications and join a talented software team responsible for mission-critical systems. You’ll contribute across the full software lifecycle and deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Java/Java EE experience, strong OOAD and design-pattern knowledge, and a solid background in relational databases, especially MySQL, including Servlets and JSP.

Qualifications

• MCA or Engineering or related subject required.
• 2 to 4 years hands-on software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing applications using Java EE.
• OOAD and design pattern knowledge.
• Deep understanding of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, memory management, transactions).
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, MySQL.
• Experience developing web applications using Servlets and JSP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems with high availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure designs meet specifications.
• Prepare and release software components.
• Support continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.

Requirements:

• MCA or Engineering or a related subject
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience of 2 to 4years.
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc).
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, MySQL.
• Experience in developing web applications using Servlets and JSP.
