Job summary

Groupsoft US is seeking a Senior Java Developer for its Pune location. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

You should be comfortable with Core Java, Spring Boot, Eclipse IDE, Jenkins, APIs development, Hibernate and SQLServer, and able to write JUnit/Mockito tests. Prior POS domain experience is preferred and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
POS (Point Of Sale) domain experience is preferred.
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
Experience writing the JUnit/Mockito test cases.

Responsibilities

Ideate software solutions with development teams and product managers.
Design client-side and server-side architecture.
Build the front-end of applications with appealing visual design.
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Developer, you should be comfortable working on coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Requirements

Proven experience of 4-7 years as a Java Developer or similar role
POS (Point Of Sale) domain experience is preferred
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Excellent communication, teamwork skills and prompt articulation
Experience writing the JUnit/Mockito test cases.

Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
