Job Description

• 5+ years of engineering experience in JVM based secure web applications
• Expert level coding skills in front & back-end Java
• Java EE and/or JVM based secure web applications, LDAP
• Experience in designing scalable web services
• Strong foundational knowledge and experience with JMS
• Experience in deploying J2EE applications with IBM WebSphere7.0 or later
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Excellent team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
• Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver
• Mentor and coach other team members
• Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, RAD or WDSC
• Great communication skills, including active listening and comprehending system requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools
• Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion, JIRA
• Familiar with SOA, DB2, SQL, JDBC, (IBM development)
• Spring Framework, Hibernate, Core Java
• Proficiency in working in OS400/Unix/Linux environment
• Knowledge of scripting languages
• Self-taught and self-teaching, with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skill
