Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a hands-on Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications in Bangalore. You will own end-to-end delivery of microservices, REST APIs, and data access layers while collaborating with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.

You should be proficient in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and performance tuning, with strong debugging and production support skills. Expect a 5 days on-site work arrangement at Bellandur, Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle RDBMS along with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficient in unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Git, Linux/Unix, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and production support skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Debug application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
