Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Pune is seeking an experienced Java developer to lead backend applications. You will work on core Java/J2EE, build microservices with Spring Boot, and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and REST/SOAP services.

The role requires strong problem-solving and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. Education requires a Bachelor's degree, and Oracle/SQL knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 7-10 years of hands-on application development experience.
• Strong Java expertise with Core Java 11/17 and J2EE.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture (Spring Boot) and event-driven distributed architecture.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services, Kafka, Docker and design patterns.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as Oracle/SQL.

• Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of databases such as Oracle/SQL.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Recommended Qualifications:
  • 7-10 Years Exp Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
