Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Java developer with 7+ years hands-on experience to join a cloud-enabled microservices team.

You will work with Spring, REST APIs, and Azure native tools, building scalable data processing and ETL workflows while contributing to CI/CD automation and robust backend services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Experience with REST APIs and messaging concepts.
• Cloud exposure; Azure preferred; Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Hands-on Azure Developer for ETL using Python or similar.
• Knowledge of MS SQL and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Design REST APIs and implement messaging patterns.
• Leverage Azure services for data processing (Data Factory/Databricks).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (UI or YAML).
• Work with MS SQL and shell scripting to support deployments and automation.

Role & responsibilities

• Exp - 7+years of Java Handson Expereince
• Technology: Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Hibernate, JPA, REST API, Messaging Concepts, Good understanding of Java ( min version 8.0 )
• Cloud Exposure and experience on Microservices is a bonus. If experienced on Azure that will be desirable
• Candidate should be aware of Design Patterns and features of Java 8 - Streaming API, Lamda etc
• Strong experience with Azure native tools and technology (Azure Data Factory/Databricks) and Azure certified
• Hands-on experience as a Azure Developer to build ETL process using Python or any other language
• Knowledge on MS SQL
• Experience with Powershell or Bash scripting
• Able to build Azure Devops pipelines either though UI or yaml
