Job summary

Cubic Transportation seeks an experienced Software Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and AWS cloud architecture. You will lead technical design, mentor teams, and drive CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 12+ years in software development with strong Java expertise, Python scripting for automation, and hands-on AWS deployment experience. Strong leadership and communication are essential for this position based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for enterprise applications ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Hands-on development and architectural guidance using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Develop automation and integration scripts using Python for deployment, monitoring, and data processing tasks.
• Design and implement AWS cloud solutions, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and other services.
• Research emerging technologies and provide proof-of-concept for innovative solutions.

This role spans all phases of the project lifecycle from intake through delivery-and is responsible for delivering well-engineered, maintainable solutions that align with enterprise vision and business value. The position requires strong expertise in Java, Python scripting, and AWS cloud architecture, along with leadership in technical design and implementation.
