Persistent Ltd. is seeking a Java Architect to lead innovation and own technical delivery in client engagements. You will drive solutioning, design patterns, and integration approaches while partnering with delivery teams to grow accounts.

You will develop connectors to diverse systems, evaluate open-source containers and enterprise stacks, and advocate best technology practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient Java architect with strong knowledge of J2EE, XML and SOA/web services.
• Experience with UML, design patterns and architectural best practices.
• Exposure to containers and enterprise stacks (open-source or IBM/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership of client engagements and drive solutioning.
• Lead architecture discussions and define integration approaches.
• Develop connectors to various source/target systems.

About The Position

We are looking for a Java Architect who will be a thought leader and drive innovation inside the organization. You will take full technical ownership in a client engagement and help our clients on technical aspects and solutioning. You will help adopt best technology practices and partner with the project delivery team in growing the account.

What You?ll Do

• Understand new products from an integration

Experience

• Architecting and designing systems
• Open-source containers or IBM /Oracle stacks is a must
• UML and design patterns

Knowledge

• Java skills such as J2EE, XML, SOA / web services and database
• Understanding of any of the following Authentication & Authorization, Workflow, Content Management, e-Commerce
• Understanding of at least one domain BFSI, Networking / Telecom, Media, Life Sciences, Retail Exposure to at least one area from SMAC
