Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience with enterprise-scale digital lending platforms.
• Proven ability to lead large engineering teams and multiple technology portfolios.
• Deep understanding of LOS/LMS, underwriting, decision engines, servicing and collections.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures.

Northern Arc Capital (NACL) is looking for an experienced VP / SVP – Digital Lending Technology to join our Technology team in Bengaluru.

JOB OBJECTIVE

The VP / SVP – Digital Lending Technology will own the end-to-end technology strategy, architecture, engineering, and delivery of Northern Arc's digital lending ecosystem. The incumbent will lead platform modernization and innovation across customer acquisition, onboarding, underwriting, credit decisioning, loan management, servicing, collections, and partner integrations while ensuring scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant technology platforms.

The role requires strong business and technology leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives, build high-performing engineering organizations, collaborate with business, product, risk, operations and compliance teams, and deliver differentiated lending experiences for customers and ecosystem partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for Northern Arc's digital lending platforms.
• Own engineering delivery across customer onboarding, digital journeys, loan origination, underwriting, decisioning, servicing, collections and loan lifecycle management.
• Lead modernization of lending platforms using cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Build highly scalable, resilient and secure lending platforms supporting high transaction volumes and rapid business growth.
• Partner closely with Product, Business, Risk, Operations, Compliance and Data Science teams to deliver customer-centric lending solutions.
• Drive automation across underwriting, decision engines, workflow orchestration, document management and operational processes.
• Establish technology governance, engineering standards, architecture principles and software quality practices.
• Drive ecosystem integrations with banks, bureaus, KYC providers, payment partners, account aggregators, fintech partners and external service providers.
• Lead engineering organizations comprising architects, engineering managers, product teams, QA, DevOps and platform teams.
• Ensure platform availability, operational excellence, performance optimization and production stability.
• Manage technology budgets, vendor partnerships, engineering capacity and strategic investments.
• Build a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, continuous improvement and customer obsession.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience with significant experience building enterprise-scale digital lending platforms.
• Proven leadership experience managing large engineering organizations and multiple technology portfolios.
• Deep understanding of lending platforms including LOS, LMS, underwriting, decision engines, servicing and collections.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience implementing digital customer journeys, workflow automation and ecosystem integrations.
• Strong understanding of financial services architecture, regulatory requirements and secure platform design.
• Excellent stakeholder management, strategic planning and organizational leadership skills.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, engineering governance and delivery excellence.
