Job summary

Citi is hiring an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst in Maharashtra to lead development activities on the Usage Analytics project. You will guide an experienced team to design, implement, and optimize analytics applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, system integration, and production excellence across Citi applications and services.

Qualifications

• 15+ years overall experience with deliveries and technical design.
• Must Have (Priority) skills in Java-Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and performance tuning.
• Data engineering with SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL), ETL, and data modeling.
• Kafka producers/consumers, monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Cloud and containerization experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift/ECS, Docker, CI/CD.
• DevOps using Git, Jenkins, Autosys.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to integrate functions and deploy product and process improvements.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in application programming and ensure architecture alignment.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Understand how business areas like architecture and infrastructure integrate to meet goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions; mentor junior developers.

We are hiring an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to work on our Digital Analytics/Usage Analytics project.

Project Summary: Usage Analytics

Objective: To collect, process, and analyze user interaction data from digital platforms to gain actionable insights into user behavior, platform performance, and engagement trends.

Goal: Deliver a robust analytics system that empowers stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, enhance user engagement, and optimize the performance of digital platforms, various citi applications and services

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems and programming activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
