Post: Junior Technical Assistant

Eligibility

• B.Tech in CSE/ECE/Electrical/IT or MCA/M.Sc. IT, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA from a recognized University/Institute.
• Minimum two (02) years of experience in installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of computer networks, servers and related IT infrastructure, preferably in an HPC or data centre environment.
• CCNA Networking Certification or a Linux System Administration Certification. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in HPC Administration.

Consolidated monthly remuneration: Rs. 29,200/- (twenty-nine thousand two hundred only).

Terms and Conditions / Instructions

1. The engagement shall be purely contractual and shall not confer any right whatsoever on the prospective engagement to claim continuation or otherwise.
2. Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the University website www.iust.ac.in and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. Upon successful submission of the online application, candidates must submit the hard copy of the duly filled application form, along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents and certificates, to the office of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, IUST Campus AB-XI (CAI OFFICE) on any working day, on or before the last date of submission.
3. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date & place of the written test / Practical Demonstration / interview through e-mail / website. The University does not take responsibility for non-receipt or delayed receipt of intimation.
4. All relevant information / updates / addendum / corrigendum shall be uploaded on the University website only. Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the University website.
5. Candidates with foreign degrees must enclose an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
6. The University reserves the right to defer or not to fill the post advertised.
7. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts advertised.
8. The appointed candidates shall be bound to act in conformity with University rules, regulations and professional ethics.
9. Engagement order / salary will not be issued until satisfactory character & antecedent verification is received.
10. Jurisdiction for disputes shall be confined to the court of Srinagar only.
11. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the test / interview.
