Leapedge (Aerospace & Defense) seeks a highly skilled Wire Harness & PCB Assembly Expert to join our aerospace manufacturing operations in Delhi-NCR. The ideal candidate will perform heavy wire harness routing, crimping, and PCB soldering to tight quality standards.

Experience with IPC-A-610/IPC-WHMA-620, military/aerospace-grade assembly, and hands-on use of diagnostic tools is required. Based in Delhi-NCR / Gurgaon, you will support prototyping, pilot builds, and R&D teams with meticulous

Job Description: Wire Harness & PCB Assembly Expert / Technician

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and precision-focused Wire Harness & PCB Assembly Expert to join our aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in military/aerospace-grade electronic assembly, heavy wire harness routing, crimping, and advanced PCB soldering. Candidates with relevant industry certifications (such as IPC) will be given top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Wire Harness & Cabling:
  • Execute complex wire harness fabrication, loom building, routing, and cable assembly as per engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Perform high-precision crimping, connector pinning, and backshell assembly adhering to strict aerospace standards.
• PCB Assembly & Soldering:
  • Perform manual soldering, through-hole (THT), and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) component assembly/rework (including QFN, BGA, and LGA packages).
  • Handle PCB board bring-up, bare board testing, and preliminary hardware debugging using diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Quality & Compliance:
  • Strictly adhere to IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-620 standards for electronic assemblies and cable harnesses.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure zero-defect output for mission-critical defense projects.
• Documentation & Support:
  • Maintain proper process logs, test reports, and support the R&D/production team during proto-typing and pilot batch builds.

Candidate Requirements (Mandatory Skills)

• Domain Experience: Proven hands-on background in Aerospace, Defense, or high-reliability electronic manufacturing. (Candidates with automotive/consumer electronics-only background will not be considered).
• Core Competencies: Expert-level manual soldering, crimping, wire harnessing, and mechanical enclosure/rack wiring.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-620 (or equivalent military standards).
• Location: Must be based in or willing to work in the Delhi-NCR / Gurgaon region.Role & responsibilities
