Job summary

Graviss Foods in Maharashtra is seeking a seasoned electrical maintenance technician to oversee HT and LT systems, transformers, breakers, panels and MCCs in a heavy industrial plant.

You will read diagrams, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor energy use, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with production during breakdowns and audits.

ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 35 years of hands-on experience are required; HT yard maintenance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 35 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong practical exposure to HT/LT systems, transformers, HT/LT breakers, electrical panels and industrial electrical maintenance.
• HT yard and HT breaker maintenance experience is mandatory.
• Ability to independently diagnose electrical faults and handle breakdowns.
• Experience in a manufacturing/food/pharma/FMCG plant is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety, earthing, electrical testing instruments and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute HT & LT electrical maintenance, including transformers, HT/LT breakers, panels, MCCs and electrical distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using testing and diagnostic instruments and restore equipment safely.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Inspect and maintain transformers, circuit breakers, earthing systems, electrical panels, cables and industrial wiring.
• Independently handle HT yard activities, HT breaker maintenance and electrical audit requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, control circuits and technical diagrams.
• Monitor and update daily electrical energy consumption data in the designated system and identify abnormal consumption.
• Execute electrical equipment installation, modification, replacement and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements and applicable regulations.
• Maintain electrical testing equipment and proper documentation of PM, breakdowns, inspections and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and external electrical agencies during breakdowns, audits and major maintenance activities.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and electrical reliability improvement projects.
