Job summary

Qualifications

• ITI Electrician certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with welding and grinding machines.

Responsibilities

• Cable connections for welding, grinding, cutting machines and equipment.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot problems.
• Carry out cable laying, connections and termination.
• Check electrical cables, plugs, sockets and power supply.
• Ensure proper earthing of electrical equipment.
• Provide electrical support during fabrication and erection work.
• Carry out routine electrical maintenance.
• Support shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain temporary electrical connections at sites.
• Follow electrical safety rules, PPE, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Report faults and unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Coordinate with mechanical and piping teams.

We are looking for an ITI Electrician with 2 years of experience for our mechanical construction and engineering projects. The candidate will provide electrical support for structural fabrication, piping fabrication, erection, shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Cable connections of welding machines, grinding machines, cutting machines, equipment, and drilling machines.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Carry out cable laying, connections and termination.
• Check electrical cables, plugs, sockets and power supply.
• Check and maintain proper earthing of electrical equipment.
• Provide electrical support during structural and piping fabrication and erection work.
• Carry out routine electrical maintenance.
• Support shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain temporary electrical connections at work sites.
• Follow electrical safety rules, PPE, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Report electrical faults, damaged equipment and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with mechanical, fabrication and piping teams.
